“Piece of Cake” – First Results up

Congratulations all who took part of the first 1.5 mile timed race round the environs of leafy Langley Park, now named “Piece of Cake” due to its unique shape.

As I cannot find any other race quite like it, I hereby declare the following all world records, as all event records were broken this evening.

The race consists of 2 goes round a 1.5 mile course, fastest time to count.

  • Fastest Male Senior – 4’16” – Ben Calascione*
  • Fastest Folder Category – 4’28” Will Withecombe
  • Fastest Male Vet – 4’37” – Steve Ferarrarar
  • Fastest Vet Lady – 5’06” Jennifer Hamley
  • Fastest Senior Lady – 5’10” Melanie Burdett*
  • Fastest Super Vet – 5’17” Colin Logier
  • Fastest Musical Cyclist**  4’44” Andrew B Small –Entrant disqualified due to Reckless Abandonment of Riders Pump ( A category 3 offence under POCST Regulations 1953 )

* Note: In accordance with POCST Regulations, entrant ages are calcuated according to the Gregorian Calendar during the winter season.

** In accordance with POCST Regulations, a “musical” cyclist is any cyclist who can play a diminshed 7th chord on at least 3 intruments.
